چکیده
Tubes of a new serpulid species, Neovermilia gundstrupensis sp. nov., from the lower part Kerteminde Marl Formation (Selandian, middle Paleocene) Gundstrup gravel pit, Fyn, Denmark, represent first serpulids this group Selandian Denmark. Within long-ranging genus (Oxfordian to Recent), finds extend last recorded occurrence an informal sub-group closely related upper Danian Selandian. is characterized by tube increasing only slowly in diameter reaching up approximately 5 mm and possessing small, often densely spaced annular striae occasionally merging into weakly but never strongly developed peristomes. Almost all specimens found so far are attached siliceous sponges Ventriculites. The morphology species microstructure wall, as well its palaeoecology discussed.

متن کاملPhylogenetic analysis of Alloiococcus otitis gen. nov., sp. nov., an organism from human middle ear fluid.
The partial 16S rRNA sequence of an unknown bacterium that was originally isolated from middle ear fluids of children with persistent otitis media was determined by reverse transcription. A comparison of this sequence with sequences from other gram-positive species having low guanine-plus-cytosine contents revealed that this bacterium represents a new line of descent, for which the name Alloioc...
